Spoštovane in spoštovani,

Vljudno vas vabimo na premiero uprizoritve Amazonke, avtorjev Júlie Sándor in Jaše Kocelija, ki se podpisuje tudi pod režijo. Uprizoritev je primerna za mlade od 12. leta dalje in odrasle. Prva premiera bo v četrtek, 12. oktobra 2023 ob 18h na Odru pod zvezdami, druga pa v soboto, 14. oktobra 2023 ob 17h, prav tako na Odru pod zvezdami.

Vzgojeni smo bili, da na Amazonke gledamo kot na mitske bojevnice starodavnih časov, ki so lahko hkrati močne, neodvisne, smrtonosne in zaželene, kot na nadnaravno družbo mogočnih žensk, stkanih iz niti domišljije. Ampak kaj pa, če so bile resnične?

Uprizoritev Amazonk je gledališka arheologija, v kateri ustvarjalci združujejo mite in legende kavkaških ljudstev z ohranjenimi zapisi o slavnih bojevnicah iz starogrške antike, ki so jim dodali svoja avtorska besedila o življenjskih preizkušnjah Amazonk.

Skitski nomadi so bili ena najbolj egalitarnih družb v človeški zgodovini. Njihova življenja so še vedno v veliki meri skrita pod zemljo. V predstavi jih bomo odkopali in jim prisluhnili. Ne bomo prvi. Znanstvena odkritja zadnjih desetletij so potrdila obstoj velikega števila bojevnic nomadskih plemen izpred dveh tisočletij in pol. Kakšne so bile in kaj lahko povedo danes?

V uprizoritvi bodo nastopile ženske štirih različnih generacij, ki bodo z občinstvom delile zgodbe, dileme, spretnosti, izkušnje in vizije.

Vabilo velja za dve osebi do zapolnitve mest. Prosimo, da svojo udeležbo potrdite z odgovorom na to sporočilo do vključno torka, 10. oktobra in vanj pripišite za katero premiero bi želeli vstopnice.

We kindly invite you to the premiere of the performance The Amazons  by Júlia Sándor and Jaša Koceli, who also directed the performance. The performance is intended for young people aged 12 and over and adults. The first premiere will be on Thursday 12 October at 6 pm on Stage Under the Stars and the second on Saturday 14 October at 5pm on the same stage.

What does the spirit of the Amazons mean for us today? What happens when women are the central We were raised to view the Amazon women as mythical warriors of ancient times, who can be at the same time strong, independent, deadly and desirable, as the supernatural society of mighty women woven from the thread of imagination. But what if they were real?

The production of The Amazons is a theatrical archaeology in which the creators combine myths and legends of the Caucasian peoples with preserved records of famous warrior women from ancient Greece, to which they have added their own original texts about the Amazons' trials in life.

The Scythian nomads were one of the most egalitarian societies in human history. Their lives are still largely hidden underground. In the performance we will dig them out and listen to them. We will not be the first. The scientific discoveries of the last decades have confirmed the existence of a large number of female warriors of nomadic tribes from two and a half millennia ago. What were they like and what do they have to tell us today?

The performance will feature women of four different generations who will share their stories, dilemmas, skills, experiences and visions with the audience.
