Room on the Broom is yet another hit, written by Scottish writer Julia Donaldson, who is an old acquaintance of Puppet Theatre, and her loyal collaborator - German illustrator -, Axel Scheffler. They are also the authors of the famous picture book The Gruffalo and its no less popular sequel The Gruffalo's Child. In their new adventure we will embark again on a journey to the world of animals, only this time the place of the almost dreadful Gruffalo will be taken by anything but an evil Witch, and, consequently by a far more dangerous and hungry Dragon.

The magic adventure will be staged as a puppet musical, depicting a story about the Witch with bristling hair and her Cat, travelling together on a Broom. Due to their high speed (and perhaps even due to her Cat's teasing), the Witch loses her hat. So, she lands on the ground and starts looking for it everywhere. Although she suddenly finds herself faced by quite a range of tests, she is always helped by some new friends, who manage to find her lost things, so she rewards them with a ride on the broom. In order to make everything a bit more complicated, suddenly a dreadful Dragon and a Sticky Creature pop up out of nowhere and of course not accidentally at all.
Room on the Broom
is a story of fear, friendship and helping, amusingly spiced up with witty rhymes, music, songs and humorous twists and turns. We will be thus looking forward to a genuine puppet spectacle, wrapped up in a colourful visual design.
