The award-winning Spanish hit in object theatre delves into the interior of the human body and creates an intimate and unique anatomy lesson that explores man and his existence in a unique way. An experience in which the stomach contains a living room, arteries resembling cherry blossoms, and a heart that is an embrace.
In Spanish with Slovenian surtitles.
El Patio Teatro was founded in Logroño (Spain) in 2010 by Izaskun Fernandez and Julian Sáenz López. The company was born from their need to share stories from everyday life that happen around them, and the aim to seek out their own language to tell them on stage.
Since then, the company has created five productions: A Mano (By Hand), Hubo (Once), Conservando Memoria (Preserving Memories), Entrañas (Insides) and Feriantes, which they have been awarded nationally and internationally and have toured in the best festivals and venues all over the 5 continents.
The company has been awarded with the RNE’s El Ojo Crítico Theatre Award in 2021, from Radio Nacional de España.
