Tickets can be purchased online via our websites: www.lgl.si or lgl.mojekarte.si. With an e-ticket, you can enter the auditorium directly—there’s no need to collect a printed ticket at the box office.

Box office LGL is open Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 7 PM, Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM and one hour before each performance.

Tickets can be purchased with cash or credit cards. Each visitor must have their own ticket, including children, regardless of age. Please check the recommended age limit for each performance on our website. If you are unable to attend a performance, you may cancel your ticket at the box office up to one hour before the performance begins. No refunds will be given for tickets returned after this time.

Access for the physically challenged is arranged on the Veliki and Mali oder (ramps), on the Oder under the stars and on the Šentjakob stage (elevator). The Šentjakob stage has a designated place for the physically challenged, so call the box office on 0802004 or 013000982 before buying tickets.

At the Ljubljana Puppet Theatre, we want the theater experience to be enjoyable for all visitors- young and old. We therefore invite you to ensure a pleasant atmosphere and the smooth running of the show.

  • Arrive on time. Traffic jams are common in the city center, so make sure to set off early enough.
  • The phones are turned off during the show. Even web surfing and checking messages emits light that disrupts actors and other visitors. Taking pictures and videos is not permitted, except for the tribute at the end of the show. Exceptions are possible with prior permission from the Public Relations Department.
  • You can safely store bigger bags, schoolbags, umbrellas and outwear in the cloakroom, and leave strollers in the hall lobby.
  • Snacks, drinks and conversations should be saved for after the show - noise and talking can quickly disrupt the action on stage.
  • Even though shoes with lights are fun, their light and flickering distract other viewers in the hall.
  • If a child is restless and cries, you may take a moment to leave the hall and come back later. It is a good idea to visit toilets before the show begins, which can, of course, be done during the show if necessary.
  • The seating order is not specified at some shows (it is marked in the announcements and on the tickets). In such cases it is great to have younger children sitting in the front, older children and adults behind them.
  • Our hostess service is always available for any clarifications and is obliged to warn viewers who disrupt others with their behavior.

Thank you for working with us to create a beautiful theater experience for everyone.
