10 years of the Puppet Museum Ljubljana

Join us during the Museum Week, during which the Ljubljana Puppet Theatre and the Ljubljana Castle will host festive events and puppet performances by various puppet theatres and artists who are an important part of Slovenia's puppet past, present and future. All events are published on the Puppet Museum website.

We would like to highlight that during the festive week, you will be able to see both the play Žogica Marogica by the Ljubljana Puppet Theatre and Žogica Marogica by the Maribor Puppet Theatre on our stage. This time, the puppet show Sapramiška will be performed at the Ljubljana Castle (defensive moat in front of the castle entrance). As usual, you can buy tickets for performances at the Ljubljana Puppet Theatre online or at our box office, while tickets for performances at the Ljubljana Castle can be purchased at our box office or on the Ljubljana Castle website. The ticket for the museum's anniversary events costs 10 euros and includes a visit to the selected performance and the museum, as well as a funicular ride. The museum is open until October 31, 2025.
