Bad Block is an immersive theatre experience where theatre, digital art, puppetry, sound experimentation and contemporary illusion come together to create a playful and unpredictable sensory world. At the heart of the performance is a glowing, translucent cube that gradually comes to life through touch, movement, sound and interaction. What begins as a game slowly evolves into a reflection on communication, control, dependence on technology and the ways in which modern devices shape human relationships. Voices emerge, objects respond, systems malfunction, and unexpected connections arise between the performers, the machines and the audience.
By balancing humour, unease, intimacy and surprise, Bad Block creates an ever-changing environment where technology becomes both a tool for connection and a source of isolation. The performance celebrates curiosity and interaction, whilst questioning the extent to which contemporary life is already mediated through screens, interfaces and artificial systems.
