A frog is born. Simple, or perhaps not. Just a Frog is a playful puppet grotesque that follows the complex journey of a small amphibian through phases of metamorphosis, growth and unexpected identity crises. What begins as the life of an ordinary frog quickly becomes far more unusual when a mysterious kiss suddenly changes everything. Inspired by fairy tales and absurd humour, the performance explores transformation, self-discovery and the unusual expectations others place upon us. Without words, the story unfolds through puppetry, visual comedy and exaggerated theatrical situations.
With a balance of humour, chaos and tenderness, Just a Frog celebrates the awkwardness of becoming who we are, whilst reminding us that even the smallest creatures can find themselves caught up in unexpectedly complicated stories.
