The performance Kumulunimbu tells the story of a journey shared by a girl and a cloud. Through puppetry, clowning, visual theatre and poetic imagery, it explores themes of migration, displacement, friendship, courage and hope with warmth, humour and emotional sensitivity.
Set on an endless road that could belong to any place and any time, the performance follows characters seeking safety, belonging and connection. Along the way, moments of playfulness and absurdity coexist with reflections on injustice, separation and resilience. Kumulunimbu, which combines puppetry, physical theatre and meticulously detailed visual worlds, balances humour and tenderness without shying away from difficult realities. The relationship between the girl and the cloud gradually becomes a symbol of companionship in uncertain times; fragile, yet persistent.
