Dance in Stone explores the hidden life, movement and imagination contained within stone. The performance does not treat stone as something lifeless and immobile, but asks what stories, emotions and memories might already exist within it.

Combining object theatre, dance, installation, poetry and post-dramatic theatre, the performance creates a meditative and visually multi-layered reflection on humanity’s relationship with the material world. Stones become landscapes, obstacles, bridges, symbols and silent partners in a constant dialogue between the performers and matter. The performance draws inspiration from mythology, literature, philosophy and the Slovenian OHO art movement, whilst also exploring how people perceive sustainability, change and the boundaries between the living and non-living worlds. Through movement and poetic imagery, Dance in Stone creates a space where the laws of physics lose their certainty and imagination reshapes reality itself.
