One autumn day, the Lion discovers an injured Bird in his garden. Sensitive and caring, the Lion offers her shelter in his warm home, and an unexpected friendship slowly begins to blossom between the two very different creatures. As the seasons pass, the companions share quiet moments, daily routines and the comfort of simply being together. However, as the Bird recovers, the inevitable moment of departure arrives, reminding both characters that even the deepest friendships cannot prevent change and separation.

The Lion and the Bird is a subtle and moving performance about friendship, care, loneliness and the emotional bonds that endure despite distance and absence. The performance speaks gently and simply of friendship as something that remains alive long after a farewell: quietly carried in memory and the heart.
