Set in the transient world of an airport terminal, the performance explores the promises and contradictions of globalisation. We often imagine airports as spaces of freedom, movement and connection; places where cultures, languages and personal stories intertwine. Yet beneath this image of openness, invisible structures of inequality, exclusion and privilege continue to shape the human experience.
Through a series of intimate encounters, the performance reveals the tensions between mobility and restrictions, solidarity and xenophobia, connection and isolation. The airport becomes a symbolic landscape of the modern world: a place where dreams of new beginnings coexist with fear, bureaucracy and social division.
The performance seeks to reflect on one’s own role within these systems and to question the values upon which they are founded. Through personal stories unfolding within a global context, the performance raises questions about empathy, responsibility and the possibility of a more equitable future.
