What is the role of the artist during war? What responsibility does a politician bear in times of humanitarian catastrophe? Transport: Frontline places these pressing questions at the heart of a theatrical experience set against the backdrop of armed conflict and displacement.
The performance enters a war zone where moral certainty crumbles and survival becomes inextricably linked to ethical compromises. It explores the emotional and political dimensions of modern warfare, whilst questioning how humanity can endure situations shaped by violence, fear and systemic failure.
Rather than offering simplistic answers, the performance confronts the ambiguity of responsibility in moments of crisis. It reflects on political power, media narratives, artistic testimony and the fragile boundaries between compassion and indifference. Through intimate human stories, it explores how individuals find themselves in impossible situations, whilst attempting to preserve dignity, empathy and their very humanity.
