Transport: Tipping Point transforms the theatre space into a courtroom, where the audience becomes a witness to one of the defining environmental issues of our time. At the centre of the trial stands a representative of a powerful energy corporation, accused of responsibility for a catastrophic oil rig explosion – an accident that reveals the devastating consequences of corporate greed, political complacency and environmental neglect.

The performance explores the fragile relationship between humanity, industry and the natural world, whilst questioning who is truly responsible for the destruction of the environment. During the trial, broader questions emerge: how is our way of life linked to systems built on endless extraction and consumption, and to what extent are we all complicit in ecological collapse?

Transport: Tipping Point, which balances political critique with personal responsibility, reflects on a world where economic growth repeatedly takes precedence over environmental protection, and asks whether meaningful change is still possible before irreparable damage occurs.
